last week: the beautiful weather & our beautiful girl

The weather was incredible last week! Lily and I walked everyday and it made me excited for the summer - hooray for warmer temps!

Katie (Mark's sister) was home on spring break last week and took some pictures of Lily and of us:

Lily is growing fast. I look at pictures from last month and wow, she has changed!

I totally understand when [all] parents say: "they grow-up so quickly".

My apologies for the lack of posts... being outside last week trumped any blog posts.

Meeting GG!

Lily met "GG" (Great-Grandma Haller) this morning!

Lily is her 10th great-grandchild - double digits!

Josiah, Elizabeth, Jadon, Jake, Caleb, Avery, Moriah, Ari, Ashlyn, and Lily! (phew)

We're so glad we were able to bring Lily over to meet you, Grandma Haller.

She sure was cozy sleeping on your lap the whole time. :)

1 month!

Lily is 1 month today!

About me: 1 Month Edition

• I weigh 7 lbs.
• I am 19.5 inches long.
• I sleep 15-18 hours a day and eat every 2-3 hours. 
• I finally fit in my newborn cloth diapers!
• I like to snuggle with mommy or daddy when I sleep (I secretly know when they aren't right next to me).
• I love being swaddled, it helps me sleep better! 
• I fit in some newborn clothes and some 0-3 month clothes.
• I like wearing cute hats, especially my bunny hat from Aunt Jen!
• When I'm feeling down, I like loud music. ("Mighty to Save" by Hillsong United is my fave.)
• I haven't started giving real smiles yet, but I tease mommy and daddy with my gassy smiles.

where did a whole week go?

We've been kind of busy lately. Well, it seems that way at least.
Visitors + baby + lifeasweknewit = BUSY
Lily has met a lot of people!

We want to say thank you to our small group for all of the wonderful meals you all provided. I cannot tell you how thankful we are to have such wonderful friends and how helpful it was to have dinner every other night. I miss it...ha!

Our friends Nick and Jamie came to visit. Yay Nick, you're a natural!

Lily's been having a little trouble with spit-up.

Translation: Every night is bath night. 

 sometimes Lily gets bored...

but really, she still loves her bathtime.

I CANNOT believe she is almost one month. Sigh...
